Field Trips
Learning Outside the Classroom
Centennial students participate in a variety of academic field trips, from the Minnesota Zoo to the Mississippi River Journey. All students visit Wood Lake Nature Center twice each year to learn about nature, conservation, ecology and to have fun skiing and snowshoeing. Fourth-grade students learn to ice skate at the Richfield Ice Arena. Students participate in arts opportunities as well, such as trips to Orchestra Hall and the Children's Theatre in Minneapolis.
In addition to off-campus field trips, we invite Artists in Residence to the school for exciting learning opportunities in visual arts, dance and music.
