Accessibility Overview

The Richfield Public School District is committed to providing a website that’s accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

Our aim is to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make website content more accessible for individuals with visual, hearing or cognitive disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make our website more user-friendly for everyone. For more information on the federal standards, visit the Section 508 website or the Federal Access Board website.

Technical information about our site

Some of our documents are in Adobe PDF format, which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view. If you don’t already have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it for free from Adobe’s website.

Reporting an inaccessible page or external link

The district’s administrative website team continually reviews this website and changes any pages found to have accessibility issues.

If you can't access or decipher any page(s) on our website, please fill out the form below or contact us at webmaster@rpsmn.org. Please include detailed information on the location of the page or document you were trying to access and the problem you experienced. Be sure to include your name, email address and phone number so we may contact you to provide the information in another format.

If you would like to file a formal grievance under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act or Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, you may contact our Section 504/Title II Coordinator, Craig Holje. He can be contacted at 7001 Harriet Ave South Richfield, MN 55423, at 612-798-6031, or by email at craig.holje@rpsmn.org.

These guidelines apply to all web content produced or updated by the Richfield Public School District. In addition, the district will ensure third-party content providers are aware of our website accessibility guidelines and will favor providers based on their accessibility conformance claims.
