Thank You for Your Feedback: Family Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2025-26 Family Survey. We are grateful for your thoughtful feedback and the time you took to share your experiences. Your voice plays a vital role in shaping our schools and improving how we serve your children.

We’re pleased to share that the survey results reflect many strengths across our district, along with helpful ideas for how we can grow.

What We Heard and What We’re Celebrating
Many of you expressed that your child feels safe, cared for and known at school. You also shared appreciation for strong communication and relationships with teachers and staff.

Overall, 98% of respondents agree or strongly agree that RPS supports and celebrates diversity and school pride and provides a welcoming environment. That is an incredible number!

Here are just a few of the many thoughtful comments we received:

  • “Since we moved into the district ten years ago, we have had nothing but amazing things happen for our kids at RPS.”
  • “It’s a very welcoming space, and the staff is always willing to help.”
  • “Thank you for everything, especially for your support of the Hispanic community in the days following the situation we experienced.”

Families across the district highlighted the strong sense of belonging and pride they feel in their school communities.

What We’re Working To Improve
We also heard clear and thoughtful feedback about areas where we can grow, such as:

  • Interest in increased after-school care opportunities
  • A desire for more ways to be involved, including expanded volunteer opportunities
  • A need for additional support, opportunities, and clear information for bilingual and Spanish-speaking families
  • A review and expansion of career and postsecondary opportunities

These insights are helping guide our planning for the year ahead.

Moving Forward Together
Please know that your voice is heard and is helping shape our decisions. In the coming months, we will continue using this feedback to guide improvements across the district. If you haven’t already heard from them, leadership at your child’s school will be in touch soon with more detailed information and specific feedback.

Thank you again for your partnership, trust and support. Together, we are creating schools where every child and every family feels valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
