Welcoming Centennial Principal, Andrew Collins

We are excited to announce the selection of Andrew Collins as the new principal at Centennial Elementary School. Principal Collins is a dedicated educational leader who cares deeply about students, families and the communities schools serve. He brings a wide range of experience, having served as Executive Chief of Schools and Learning, Chief of Schools, Assistant Superintendent, and Principal in Saint Paul Public Schools. Throughout his career, he has focused on supporting school leaders, strengthening teaching and learning and ensuring every student has access to meaningful opportunities for success.

Principal Collins holds an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Administration and is known for building strong relationships and fostering collaborative, supportive school communities. He believes in listening first and values partnering with educators, students and families to create environments where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.

“I’m truly looking forward to becoming part of a community that is so deeply committed to its students,” shared Principal Collins. “Centennial has a strong foundation, and I’m excited to listen, learn and partner with staff, students and families to build on that work and support every child in reaching their full potential.”
