Hello Centennial Elementary School Families,

We know you’ve been waiting to hear from us about the upcoming school year. We have been working to finalize all of the complex details of this upcoming year.

Here’s what you should know:

  • In the next few days, you will be receiving a packet of information in the mail that will contain the following information:
    • The week of September 8-11 will be for open house appointments. Your family will be invited to the school to tour our remodeled building, meet the teachers, and get your Chromebooks. That information will be coming in the next few days.
  • The school supply lists have not changed, but please only buy what you can afford. We will have extra supplies on hand to help out.
  • The first day of classes for students, both hybrid (in person) and distance (online) will be Monday, September 14.
  • You will hear about bus transportation times and places soon.

Thank you so much for your patience. We are planning a great year at Centennial, and we are so happy you will be part of the Centennial family!

Enjoy the last days of summer break!

Bus Stop & Walk

On the morning of Wednesday, May 26, our students will have a very special start to the morning! At the beginning of the school day, students will be dropped off at Wilson Park, a short distance from the school. Students will be supervised by Centennial teachers and staff in the park and at all intersections.

Walking School Bus Leaders

We are looking for parents/caregiver volunteers to help us test a new mode of transportation: Walking School Buses!

Winter Walking Day Fashion Show

We encourage you to try taking a stroll at home or on the way to school—we think it will be fun and refreshing. Let’s all bundle up and walk together on Feb. 26!
